The Mummy Pincushion

I just finished this Halloween pincushion. I was inspired with this little coffin that I found at a craft store. To create the mummy I drew the outline of a mummy onto a piece of paper. I made it the correct size to fit into the coffin. Using that as my pattern, I cut two pieces from felt. You can use whatever you have on hand. Then I hand stitched them together but leaving a small opening to work the stuffing through. After he is stuffed, I hand stitched that area closed. To finish the mummy, I glued on some eyes. Then I cut gauze into long thin strips and wound around until I reached the desired look.

Wouldn't a vampire look fabulous in this coffin?
