Little did I know when I purchased that fabric. That it would sit in the corner of our home office for the next two and half years, tormenting me. I made every excuse possible not to begin cutting into that bolt of expensive material for fear I would make a terrible mistake.
Yes, I realize how pathetic that is. I had become wimpy Moogie. Finally, a couple of weeks ago, I came to my senses. I was no longer going to let a bolt of fabric intimidate me. So I picked up my scissors and made my first cut. It was all a breeze from there. And I not so humbly wallowed in Pap's well deserved praise.

Nicely done!! They look great, very professional! I've tried curtains before, they were NOT nice like yours LOL :)
Lovely, I like it a lot! compliments!
Good Job Moogie! I have been intimidated a few times by crafting undertakings I agreed to do. You are right-the first step is usually the hardest.
You're a much, much better woman than I am Moogie. The material I bought to make a dress is now a tablecloth. At least that's what I call a long piece of unsewn fabric.
I'm like Andrea... my attempts at curtains have not turned out like yours at all. Well done!
Oh, I have loads of projects that I have yet to start! So glad I am not alone. These look great!
Those are so pretty, you did an excellent job and framed the windows beautifully.
Thanks for visiting my blog. I will chk back here from time to time for more good reads.
Congratulations on a big undertaking, well done.
Thanks for visiting and following along! I'm following you too! How funny that your post is about sewing and today I'm catching up on all the sewing and mending that I've been putting off this summer. LOL.

Those look great!!! I always think my husband will reply in that manner to everything I do. Usually I just get a "that's good" "looks good" or "i like it" and a peck of a kiss that is so fast I'm not sure if he did it or not!
Thanks for the comment and follow! Now I'm your newest follower! *winks*
